Gorilla arrives on a semi truck
Our Gorilla arrived via
USF Holland Truck Lines.
Off the truck with a hay fork
Instead of a forklift, we used
a hay bale handler to unload.
Cut the straps
Plastic straps can
be cut with a scissors.
Remove wrapping material
The Gorilla was shipped
on a sturdy steel pallet.
Unbolt the pallet
The pallet's front bar is easily
unbolted from the pallet.
First ride
Point up headlights, release emergency brake,
and drive off on the first ride.
From woodpile to outdoor furnace
Sawmill slabs are cut up, piled on the Gorilla
and carried up a hill to the woodburning furnace.
Logs delivered to furnace
Small logs can be shuttled
from forest to furnace.
